What started as a moment of play turned into a legacy in motion. One afternoon while Benediction Rapps was designing merch for his fans, his little brother EJ walked in, curious and wide-eyed. He asked to try—and what came out of it was this: bold, unapologetic, and joyfully unfiltered. These are the EJ1’s.
These shoes mark the official birth of a new designer, a celebration of creativity unbound by age, status, or experience. Designed by EJ and published under the Benediction Rapps Streetwear Storyline, the EJ1’s are more than shoes. They’re a symbol of belief, family, inspiration, and youthful power.
Part of the Benediction Rapps Culture Series, this drop honors the Fear of Being Self (FOBS) movement and the story of building brands from scratch. Whether you’re walking into school, your studio, or your dreams—these are for those who choose to try.
